Since the 07-06-2016 Pokémon Go has become a global social phenomenon.
WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?
As most of people know Pokémon, created by Satoshi Tajiri in 1995, is centred on fictional creatures called Pokémon, which humans, known as Pokémon Trainers, catch and train to battle each other for sport. This used to be into virtual world, but not anymore.
Now you can be a REAL POKÉMON TRAINERS and the world has become the world of Pokémon. You are part of the game and the world is the field. How would you feel if you can see a Pokémon near by your feet?
Pokémon GO has changed the lifestyle of many gamers to make it a bit healthier. What a change of concepts! Instead of being a gamer and being sitting down the whole day, you are on the need of walking to win. Goodbye being the whole sitting in front of the computer, hello walking! People sport themselves without being conciencious and they have a motivation to be out and walk. Any excuse is good to do sport, any, even Pokémon GO. So: Go walk!!!
On 10th of April more than 64 thousand people were in Plaça Catalunya to run almost 11km. This was an interesting and good way to start for beginners.
It was a sunny day, but not too warm. Actually, it was a pretty good day for running. People from different ages were there: kids, youngsters and old people. There were some dogs too.
The truth is it hasn’t got an easy route, but it was amazing running into the Olympic Stadium and also running though the street of Barcelona. This is the link. Do not miss it next year:
